This gym offers a traditional dry sauna and a steam room as Platinum membership amenities. Gym members report the sauna is frequently non-functional for extended periods, sometimes for months or years, with a history of closures on weekends and holidays. When operational, the temperature is consistently described as inadequate, often failing to reach a therapeutic range and sometimes dropping below 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Members note the sauna rarely reaches a desired 175-180 degrees, with temperatures often hovering around 150-160 degrees, which they do not find therapeutic. The steam room is described as absolutely disgusting and unclean. A jacuzzi or hot tub is also available but is reported to be frequently broken. When the sauna is working, it can become overcrowded, and members have reported issues with cleanliness, including a mildew smell and people shaving inside.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere is defined by poor maintenance and hygiene. The facility is consistently described as dirty, with poorly maintained and often broken equipment. The men's locker rooms and bathrooms are highlighted as particularly filthy, with reports of mold, stained surfaces, malfunctioning urinals, and foul odors. A noticeable culture of inappropriate and predatory behavior is reported by members, including uncomfortable staring, harassment, and privacy violations in the locker rooms. The gym can be overcrowded, especially in the free weights and cardio areas.
Staff
Feedback on staff is mixed. One employee, Cam, is positively noted for cleaning and reracking weights. However, other members describe the staff as having little professionalism or work ethic, with reports of rude behavior and early closures. There are also accounts of staff being unable to operate the sauna due to a lack of knowledge.
Additional Amenities
The gym is a multi-floor facility with a pool, a wide range of cardio and strength equipment, and free parking with validation. However, members report a significant portion of the cardio and weight machines are old, from the 90s or early 2000s, and are frequently out of order. The parking validation has been reduced and the main lot faces frequent random closures.
