About
Cold Plunge & Sauna
The spa area, featuring a sauna and steam room, is a significant draw for gym members. Members note that both the sauna and steam room consistently work and maintain optimal temperatures, providing a space for heat therapy and relaxation. However, the cleanliness of these facilities is a major point of contention. The steam room is described as smelling like urine and being grimy, while the sauna is reported to have disgustingly filthy grout and grime. The adjacent hot tub is also part of the spa area, though members report that overuse of chlorine can sometimes make the area smelly.
Staff
Front desk staff are frequently highlighted as friendly, efficient, and helpful. Specific team members like David Valle and Luis receive praise for providing a high level of customer care and support. The gym manager, Robert, is noted as being really helpful and handling members with care. Other staff members, including Greg and a trainer named Sergio, are also mentioned positively for being awesome, friendly, and motivating.
Additional Amenities
This 24/7 gym offers a range of workout equipment. Following a remodel, some members report the arrival of all new and upgraded equipment, including a private fitness room with state-of-the-art computerized machines, though this room requires an additional fee. The facility is described as very spacious. However, other members report that half the treadmasters and cycles do not work, weights are constantly missing, and the floors near squat racks are uneven, creating a safety hazard.
Atmosphere
Feedback on the atmosphere is mixed. Some members find the gym to be clean, well-organized, never too crowded, and welcoming with a great new-car smell post-remodel. Others describe it as always crowded, with extremely loud music that inhibits conversation. The overall maintenance and cleanliness significantly impact the environment, with reports of mold in bathrooms, wet and dirty locker room floors, and out-of-order stalls.
