Annapolis Athletic Club

The Annapolis Athletic Club provides a sauna and steam room as part of its wellness amenities. Gym members describe the steam room as excellent. However, there is significant feedback regarding the condition of the men's sauna, which some members find to be in a state of neglect, describing it as smelly and stained with sweat. This sauna is noted to receive a tremendous amount of use and is considered a major asset to the club, yet its maintenance has been a point of concern for some long-term members. Beyond the sauna facilities, the gym is widely praised for its cleanliness and organization. The locker rooms are noted as spacious and clean, with toiletries provided. The facility offers a comprehensive range of equipment, including pin and plate loaded machines, cardio equipment, and both indoor and outdoor turf spaces. The equipment is plentiful, well-maintained, and rarely leads to overcrowding. A boutique group fitness studio, a coffee bar and lounge, and an apparel shop complement the training areas. The staff receives consistent acclaim for being fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and supportive of members' fitness goals. Exceptional personal trainers, including Eileen Proulx and Mike Desiderio, are highlighted for their expertise.
